Dubai World Trade Centre unveils packed September calendar with 14 major events
Major industry gatherings will draw thousands of visitors from around the world
DUBAI – Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC) is preparing for a packed September as a diverse line-up of international exhibitions and conferences takes over its venues across key industries.
From energy infrastructure and property investment to healthcare, tourism, cybersecurity, financial technology and artificial intelligence, the month’s programme covers some of the fastest-moving sectors in the global economy.

A total of 14 flagship events are scheduled across DWTC and Dubai Exhibition Centre (DEC), bringing together thousands of exhibitors, speakers, investors, policymakers, industry professionals and visitors from countries around the world. Here is a look at the major events on Dubai’s September calendar.
Middle East Energy (1-3 Sept)
Held under the patronage of the UAE Ministry of Energy and Infrastructure, Middle East Energy is recognised as the region’s largest energy infrastructure exhibition.
The 2026 edition is expected to bring together more than 1,900 exhibitors, over 250 speakers and an estimated 35,000 attendees from more than 150 countries. The event arrives as the energy industry navigates rapid changes in power infrastructure, digitalisation and demand driven by emerging technologies.
Five co-located conferences will explore issues including grid modernisation, energy storage integration and digitalisation, while also examining the growing impact of artificial intelligence and data centres on power demand.
The programme is designed to connect energy professionals and businesses across the value chain, with discussions focused on technologies and strategies shaping the future of power infrastructure.
International Property Show (7-9 Sept)
The International Property Show (IPS) returns for its 22nd edition, bringing developers, investors, banks, legal firms, property agents and auction houses together under one roof.
The three-day event is structured around four pillars: IPS Future Cities, IPS Design, IPS Services and IPS PropTech Startups. It provides buyers with access to a broad property marketplace featuring local and international developments.
Visitors can also explore live project launches and exclusive offers, while industry participants gain opportunities to connect with potential investors, buyers and business partners.
The event covers multiple aspects of the property sector, from development and design to services and technology, reflecting the increasingly digital nature of real estate markets.
AIM Congress (7-9 Sept)
Held under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, AIM Congress returns for its 15th edition.
This year’s congress is themed “Reshaping Global Prosperity: Unlocking New Investment Pathways Towards a Sustainable and Inclusive Future.”
The programme is organised around three pillars: Global Markets, Future Economies and NexGen. It will bring together global investors, policymakers and business leaders for discussions around investment, economic transformation and emerging opportunities.
The scale of the previous edition underlines the international reach of the event. Last year’s AIM Congress attracted 15,000 delegates from more than 180 countries and featured 1,385 speakers across more than 400 sessions.

Dubai Derma (8-10 Sept)
The Dubai World Dermatology and Laser Conference and Exhibition, better known as Dubai Derma, will mark its 25th edition in September.
Recognised as the largest scientific dermatology congress in the Middle East, North Africa and the Indian Subcontinent, the event is bringing its dermatology and aesthetic medicine programmes together for the first time.
The three-day gathering will bring dermatologists, plastic surgeons and aesthetic medicine practitioners together on a shared exhibition floor and scientific track.
The programme includes accredited continuing medical education sessions and live procedure workshops, alongside 1,875 international brands showcasing developments in skincare, laser and aesthetic technologies.
More than 500 speakers and participants from 114 countries are expected, with visitor numbers projected to exceed 25,000.
Crypto Expo (9-10 Sept)
Crypto Expo will bring together cryptocurrency and digital asset companies for two days of discussions, networking and industry showcases.
Its programme will feature expert-led talks and panels examining cryptocurrency regulation, blockchain developments, investment strategies and the future of digital finance.
The event is expected to attract more than 7,000 attendees, over 100 exhibitors and more than 140 speakers from more than 40 countries.
The gathering will provide a meeting point for institutions, investors, exchanges, Web3 companies, technology providers and financial services leaders as the digital asset sector continues to expand across regulation, licensing, fintech and blockchain innovation.
Arabian Travel Market (14-17 Sept)
Arabian Travel Market (ATM) returns to DWTC from 14 to 17 September, continuing its position as a major platform for inbound and outbound travel and tourism in the region.
The event has been at the centre of the industry for more than three decades and this year will take place under the theme “Travel 2040: Driving New Frontiers Through Innovation and Technology.”
Its programme is organised around four thematic pillars: Technology & Innovation, Ultra-Luxury, Business Events and Sustainability.
Technology & Innovation will spotlight areas including smart mobility, artificial intelligence-powered travel planning and augmented and virtual reality experiences. The Ultra-Luxury programme will explore emerging concepts ranging from space tourism and deep-sea exploration to personalised wellness journeys.
The Business Events pillar will focus on AI-driven matchmaking and hybrid forums, while Sustainability will highlight carbon-negative practices, electric aviation and biodiversity restoration.
Destinations, hotel groups, airlines, technology providers and senior decision-makers are expected to attend, covering leisure, luxury, business events and corporate travel.
GISEC Global (16-18 Sept)
The Middle East and Africa’s largest cybersecurity gathering will return for its 15th edition at Dubai Exhibition Centre.
GISEC Global will bring together the international cybersecurity community, chief information security officers, government leaders and technology buyers for three days of discussions, innovation showcases and live cyber drills.
More than 25,000 professionals from over 182 countries are expected to attend, alongside more than 350 cybersecurity leaders taking to the stage and 750-plus cybersecurity brands.
The programme will cover artificial intelligence security, ransomware, critical infrastructure protection, cloud security and emerging cyber threats, giving organisations an opportunity to examine technologies and strategies designed to address an increasingly complex digital threat landscape.
The Forex Expo (22-23 Sept)
The Forex Expo will bring together brokers, traders, technology providers and financial institutions from across the trading and financial services sectors.
The event will provide a platform to explore developments in foreign exchange trading, fintech and investment technology, while connecting participants from across different parts of the financial services ecosystem.
Its audience includes professionals and businesses looking to examine new technologies, market developments and opportunities within the rapidly evolving trading and financial services landscape.
Seamless Middle East (22-24 Sept)
Now in its 26th year, Seamless Middle East will return alongside Seamless Fintech, bringing together businesses involved in payments, retail, e-commerce, banking, identity and digital marketing.
The three-day event is expected to attract more than 20,000 attendees, 800 speakers and 750 exhibitors.
Payment providers, merchants and small and medium-sized enterprises will have an opportunity to explore the latest solutions in digital payments, retail and e-commerce, while industry leaders will discuss developments transforming the way consumers and businesses interact.
The event’s broad scope connects multiple parts of the digital economy, from payment infrastructure and banking to retail technology and digital marketing.
MEIDAM (24-26 Sept)
The 11th International Congress of Medical Excellence in Dermatology & Aesthetic Medicine, known as MEIDAM, will run for three days in September.
The congress is expected to attract more than 4,500 delegates representing over 107 nationalities. Its scientific programme will feature more than 300 lectures, while 80 exhibiting brands will showcase technologies and treatments shaping dermatology and aesthetic medicine.
Alongside CME-accredited scientific sessions, MEIDAM 2026 will also support Dubai’s bid to host the World Congress of Dermatology in 2031.
The congress brings together medical professionals and industry participants around developments in treatments, technologies and clinical practice in dermatology and aesthetic medicine.
Ru'ya Careers UAE (28-30 Sept)
Ru'ya Careers UAE will return to DWTC as a major career and empowerment platform for Emirati nationals, connecting UAE Nationals ranging from first-time jobseekers and students to fresh graduates with employers.
Running under the theme “Connect. Empower. Hire.”, this year’s edition will feature more than 120 participating companies recruiting across more than 23 industries.
Visitors will have opportunities to meet recruiters, explore live vacancies and participate in on-the-spot interviews.
The programme extends beyond recruitment, with skills-building competitions aimed at Emirati youth. These include the FutureX Hackathon, Green Innovation Challenge and Ru'ya Academy, supporting the UAE’s wider Emiratisation agenda.

Middle East Coatings Show (28-30 Sept)
The Middle East Coatings Show will move to its new home at Dubai Exhibition Centre for its September edition.
With more than 30 years in the industry, the event is recognised as the largest gathering for the coatings sector in the Middle East and North Africa.
Manufacturers, raw material suppliers, distributors and technical specialists from across the coatings value chain are expected to attend.
More than 350 exhibitors and over 5,000 industry professionals from more than 24 countries are expected at the event, which will provide a platform for businesses to showcase products, technologies and solutions across the coatings industry.
GOTECH (29 Sept-1 Oct)
GOTECH, the Gas & Oil Technology Showcase and Conference, will run from 29 September to 1 October under the theme “Bold Ideas, Real Impact.”
Held under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, Chairman of the Dubai Supreme Council of Energy, and organised by the Society of Petroleum Engineers, the event will bring together government representatives, industry leaders and researchers.
The conference and exhibition will focus on the strategic application of technology, artificial intelligence and talent development across the oil, gas and wider energy sector.
Discussions will examine how emerging technologies can support efficiency and sustainability while addressing the evolving requirements of the energy industry.
AWS Summit Dubai (30 Sept)
Amazon Web Services (AWS) will bring its flagship regional summit to DWTC on 30 September for a one-day programme focused on cloud, artificial intelligence and machine learning.
The summit will feature keynote presentations, technical sessions and hands-on demonstrations, giving attendees opportunities to explore developments across cloud technologies and AI.
AWS executives will share insights alongside customer success stories from across the region, highlighting how organisations are using cloud and emerging technologies across different business applications.
